A postdoctoral position of "information aspects of networks and dynamical systems" is available to begin September, 2017, with the Clarkson Center of Complex Systems Science, C3S2, at Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY under the supervision of Professors Erik Bollt and Jie Sun and Daqing Hou.

The appointment will be for 12 months with possible renewal to 24 months.  Responsibilities will include lively and creative participation in research activities in the group projects, and related to the DARPA contract, as well as writing and presenting results.

A successful candidate should have some of the following skills or areas of training:
-dynamical systems, especially applied ergodic theory,
-information theory,

-probability and statistics,
-scientific computing
-programming skills in matlab, python and/or C++.

Our intention is that the post doc will grow in skills and enjoy a fulfilling research life as full participant in the research community here at Clarkson University while at the same time helping to advance the theory and practice of the project as a central team member.
