The group of Prof. Adilson E. Motter at Northwestern University has openings for postdoctoral researchers interested in dynamical aspects of complex network systems. The main topics of interest include: symmetry in network structure and dynamics; synchronization, cascades, and pattern formation; dynamics of biochemical, combustion, and power-grid networks; applications of game theory, missing information techniques, and control theory to complex systems; quantum phenomena in networks.
Ideal candidates will be recent PhD’s in any discipline with good analytical, computational, and communication skills. One position is available immediately. Salary can vary with qualifications. Exceptionally qualified applicants may be considered for a research faculty appointment.
To apply, candidates should e-mail a CV and a brief research statement to Prof. Motter at firstname.lastname@example.org . The CV should include a list of publications and contact information of at least two references who can provide recommendation letters. Deadline for applications: July 15, 2017.
