DSWeb Dynamical Systems Software aims to collect all available software on dynamical systems theory. This project was originally launched during the special year Emerging Applications of Dynamical Systems, 1997/1998, at the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications. The information here includes functionality, platforms, languages, references, and contacts.

Dynamical systems at JMM 2015

A brief review of dynamical systems at the 2015 Joint Mathematical Meetings.

Dynamical Systems at North Carolina State University

North Carolina State University has a tradition of dynamical systems and biological applications going back to the 1960's. The research in the Mathematics Department is enhanced by contact with other departments both at NC State and at nearby universities in the Research Triangle, and with other research organizations in the area.

Dynamical Systems at Peking University

Peking University is one of the most influential universities in China. Many excellent people in its School of Mathematical Sciences were working on a variety of subjects of dynamical systems and had a tremendous influence on the study of dynamical systems in China.

Dynamical Systems at the 2008 SIAM Annual Meeting

The 2008 SIAM Annual Meeting was held from July 7-11 at the Town and Country Resort Hotel and Convention Center in San Diego, California. Here are some reflections on this conference that Jeff Moehlis has written to share with members of SIAG/DS and the dynamical systems community at large.

Dynamical systems at the Bandung Institute of Technology

In 1998, a group of Indonesian students went to the Netherlands to work on a PhD in applied mathematics. From this exchange the dynamical systems group at the Bandung Institute of Technology was born. Theo Tuwankotta, who graduated in Utrecht in 2002, outlines the activities and research interests of this group.

Dynamical Systems in Barcelona

Research in Dynamical Systems was started by Carles Simó and now involves about 50 researchers and 20 PhD students from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat de Barcelona and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

Dynamical Systems in Boston

Boston University is well known for its research in Dynamical Systems. Tasso Kaper introduces the group and their research activities.

Dynamical Systems in Jet Engines: A Symmetry-Based Approach

Prashant Mehta, Gregory Hagen and Andrzej Banaszuk explain how dynamical systems theory is used in the design of jet engines at United Technologies Research Center.

Dynamical Systems in Kyoto

The Kyoto Dynamical Systems Research Group in Mathematics is the largest dynamical systems group in Japan. Hiroshi Kokubu introduces the members and their activities.

Dynamical Systems Meeting Roundup

The biannual SIAM Conference on Applications of Dynamical Systems was held May 17 - 21, 2009 in Snowbird, Utah, outside of Salt Lake City. Chad Topaz summarizes the scientific trends in this year's conference and gives an outlook for the future.

Dynamical Systems Theory and Industrial Research

Slaven Peles is a Senior Research Engineer with United Technologies Research Center in East Hartford, CT. Before joining United Technologies in 2007 he worked as a postdoc at UCSB and was a Joseph Ford Fellow at Georgia Tech. He obtained his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Manitoba in Canada. Over the last several years his research has been focused on dynamical systems theory and its applications. These are his thoughts on how dynamical systems theory could make an impact in industry.

Dynamical Systems Weekend

A dynamical systems conference was held in Columbia, Missouri during 19-21 May 2006 in honor of Carmen Chicone's 60th birthday.
