DSWeb Dynamical Systems Software aims to collect all available software on dynamical systems theory. This project was originally launched during the special year Emerging Applications of Dynamical Systems, 1997/1998, at the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications. The information here includes functionality, platforms, languages, references, and contacts.

Dynamical Systems Meeting Roundup

The biannual SIAM Conference on Applications of Dynamical Systems was held May 17 - 21, 2009 in Snowbird, Utah, outside of Salt Lake City. Chad Topaz summarizes the scientific trends in this year's conference and gives an outlook for the future.

Dynamical Systems Theory and Industrial Research

Slaven Peles is a Senior Research Engineer with United Technologies Research Center in East Hartford, CT. Before joining United Technologies in 2007 he worked as a postdoc at UCSB and was a Joseph Ford Fellow at Georgia Tech. He obtained his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Manitoba in Canada. Over the last several years his research has been focused on dynamical systems theory and its applications. These are his thoughts on how dynamical systems theory could make an impact in industry.
