Reaction to our April Editorial on scientific publishing.

In his April editorial, Jens Rademacher discussed some of the perils of open source publishing. One of the web sites he cited, Scholarly Open Access, features Scientific Research Publishing (SCIRP) as "predatory open-access publisher". Chris Cannings is Emeritus Professor of mathematics at the University of Sheffield and Editor-in-Chief of SCIRP's Applied Mathematics.
